What They Say :

The North of England Microelectronics Institute (NEMI) provides support to organisations in the technology industries. The Centre for Advanced Industry (CAI) is a purpose built seven storey building designed to accommodate companies involved in high technology industries.

NEMI manages state-of-the-art business premises, the Fabriam Centre at Silverlink, and the Centre for Advanced Industry (CAI) at Royal Quays, North Tyneside.

It offers workforce development and training programmes, provides ICT infrastructure to business centres and also manages brand new conference and training facilities available to organisations from any industry.

Established in 1997 by a number of public and private sector partners, NEMI’s initial aim was to foster the expanding microelectronics industry in the region. Since that time it has adapted and expanded to offer services to technology based companies from the UK and Europe.

The Centre for Advanced Industry is a purpose built seven storey building designed to accommodate companies involved in high technology industries. It is part of a wider campus of similar buildings located in the award winning Royal Quays site near Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
